Chocolate chips cookies





Preparation Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: 9 min.
Cooling Time: 15 min
Yields: 60

Ingredients:

2 ¼ Cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter(2 sticks) softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12 oz) semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts(optional)

Directions:
·         PREHEAT oven to 375 F
·         COMBINE flour, baking soda & salt in small bowl.
·         Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract in large mixture bowl until creamy.
·         Add eggs, one at a time. Keep beating well after each addition.
·         Add combined dry ingredients,
·         Add choco chips & nuts . Mix well.
·         There are many methods to shape the cookies as below:
1.    Drop by rounded spoon onto ungreased baking sheet bake for 9 min & remove on wire racks to cool completely.
2.    Spread the mixture above in Grease the baking pan (15 x 10  inch) & bake for 20 to 25 min, remove on wire racks to cool completely & then cut into bars.
3.    Divide the above mixture in half, wrap in wax paper, refrigerate for 1 hour, shape each half in 15 inch log, again wrap into wax paper & refrigerate for 30 min cut onto ½ inch thick slices, place on ungreased baking sheet bake till golden brown, remove on wire racks to cool completely.  
You may store in refrigerator for up to 1 week or in freezer for 8 weeks.
